Obtaining
Section titled “Obtaining”Obtain Log by chopping down trees or digging out tree stumps, then bring it to a Timber stockpile. This page covers manual gathering and common processing routes.
For early processing, use a Sawhorse in the Workyard, unlocked by Sawing. Later, unlock the Circular Saw technology to use a Circular Saw for more processing options.
Storage and processing
Section titled “Storage and processing”Each Timber stockpile holds up to 9 logs. Both the Sawhorse and Circular Saw require logs to be placed in this stockpile before they can use them. If a recipe still shows missing materials after you bring logs back, check that they are in the stockpile.
Processing uses
Section titled “Processing uses”The table covers processing into Wood billet, Flitch, Wooden plank and Wooden beam. Each craft uses one Log. Making Wooden beam also consumes one Complex iron parts.
