Build in the barracks

Prepare defenses at Barracks. Use its construction menu and marked build spaces; searching the home yard will not provide those positions. Unlock Simple Barricades after Reinforced Plank — Graveyard Keeper 2Reinforced Plank for the first three barricade variants.

Materials for the three tiers

Each first-tier variant uses 6 Bronze Nails — Graveyard Keeper 2Bronze Nails, 2 Short Log — Graveyard Keeper 2Short Log and 2 Reinforced Plank — Graveyard Keeper 2Reinforced Plank. The table lists standard, spiked and fortified variants separately. Technology unlocks and recipe mastery still apply to the materials you must produce first.

Finish construction before battle

Section titled “Finish construction before battle”
  1. Carry the materials to the barracks and place the blueprint in an accepted position.
  2. Finish hammering each placed blueprint. A translucent outline is not a completed defense.
  3. Check the current battle quest with Herbert — Graveyard Keeper 2Herbert. If readiness is blocked, inspect incomplete defenses and the remaining quest requirements.
